The Green Herons

We would like to thank the NPCA for inviting the kids to their volunteer appreciation dinner again this year.

The youth chosen to attend were kids that; show up on snowy weekends; plant trees in construction back-fill on hot summer days (if you know, if you know); ask to clean-up shorelines; install turtle basking platforms in wetlands; and build homes to improve habitat for wildlife.

They are some of this years shining stars of our shiny little club and we appreciate them so much!

Highlights were; a shout out from local adventure hero Adam Shoalts; hanging with Metis Council president Derrick Pont; a photo booth; and free pop from the bar.

Thanks for the memories – 2024 was another fantastic growth year for these cool kids.
